2019 Goals

A new year brings 365 new amazing opportunities and been as 2018 ended on such a high I want to bring that strength and energy into 2019. Last year I focused a lot on cutting out the things that I know would trigger my anxiety, and put that energy into myself, doing the things that I enjoyed or would take me out of my comfort zone and challenge me in new ways. This year I want to continue challenging myself, saying YES to the things that both scare and excite me, go on more adventures, spend more time with my friends and family but mainly focus on being happy, living in the moment and enjoying each day.

My first goal I want to focus on is being more active, I want to find a routine where I can go swimming at least once a week, for me I find swimming calming and relaxing, so much so that if my anxiety is making a show it’s my first response to go and bash out some lengths. I want to go on more walks through the woods and the fields and away from the concrete heights of the city.

My second goal would be to travel, I spend a lot of time driving up and down the UK but never really getting the chance to stop and see the beauty of it all. I also want to see more of the world, go on random weekends away and explore, starting with my trip to the Caribbean island of St. Maarten the end of January.

My third goal would be to document my adventure’s a lot more, my one regret from last year was my lack of photo’s, video’s, writing anything to do with being able to look back on the adventure’s I had. This year I want to make the memories and keep them to look back on.

Finally I want a year filled with laughter, health and happiness.
