Facial mists are a must for summer in my opinion, the warmer weather and especially the extra hours in the sun can dehydrate us and our skin; they’re handy to have in your handbag for a little extra skin hydration throughout the day or even incorporate into your am/pm skincare routine. The Body Shop Facial Mists landed in store last month, a range of 5 gorgeous mists, each with added skin benefits.
I picked up three of the facial mists that best suited my skin and I thought I would get the most use out of; Rose Dewy Glow, Manadarin Energising and Strawberry Smoothing however you can also choose from Coco Calming and Mint Mattifying. All five of The Body Shop Facial Mists are 100% Vegan, formulated without mineral oil, paraffin, petrolatum and silicones, and they have been enriched with community trade Aloe Vera and Dermatologically tested.
Rose Dewy Glow Face Mist; Step into the spotlight with Rose Dewy Glow Face Mist. With reflective particles, this mist gives your skin a dewy, illuminated glow for an instant confidence boost. With a blend of raspberry essence, cherry water from France and Community Trade British rose essence. Leaves skin feeling hydrated and instantly refreshed after a spritz.
The Rose Dewy Glow is my most reached for facial mist especially throughout the day when you want a healthy glow, it smells super good and leaves skin looking and feeling refreshed without being greasy, and you can apply before or after you’ve done your makeup, making this perfect for throwing in your handbag for instant on the go glow.
Mandarin Energising Face Mist; Wake-up with Mandarin Energising Face Mist. Kick-start the day with a spritz of this zingy mist to help re-energise your complexion – perfect when late nights are starting to take their toll on your skin. Infused with mandarin, camu camu berry extract from Brazil, maca root extract from Peru, and caffeine for an extra boost. Leaves skin feeling hydrated and instantly refreshed.
Waking up at 5am every morning is an absolute killer which is why I’ve been loving spritzing this all over my face first thing in the morning before applying any makeup. Not only does the fresh scent of mandarin awaken you but it gives the skin a boost of hydration without being over-powering or leaving a shiny film on the skin, as well as first thing in the morning this would be perfect to use post exercise.
Strawberry Smoothing Face Mist; Go #NoFilter once you’ve smoothed over your complexion with our Strawberry Smoothing Face Mist. Skin texture appears refined with this delicately scented mist for a smoother-looking complexion. Infused with extract of juicy strawberries from Italy and guava from Brazil. Leaves skin feeling hydrated and instantly refreshed.
I personally think this is the best smelling facial mist I own! Strawberries are one of my favourite fruits, and the fact that this mist help’s reduce skin texture gets a nod from me! Even though it is my least reached for out of the three facial mists I still absolutely love it especially on days I feel like I’m having a bit of a bad skin day or on my day’s off where I don’t really need to energise my complexion or sense’s at 5am.
Coco Calming Face Mist; Help keep your skin feeling calm so you can carry on with our Coco Calming Face Mist. This calming mist helps to soothe dry, sensitive skin when you need instant relief. Enriched with naturally refreshing coconut water from Brazil, as well as calming aloe vera and bisabolol. Leaves skin feeling hydrated and instantly refreshed.
Mint Mattifying Face Mist; Stay in control with Mint Mattifying Face Mist. This mist leaves skin looking mattified and shine-free and helps reduce the appearance of excess oil. Infused with a winning combination of mint from Nicaragua, seaweed extract from Ireland and kaolin clay from the UK. Leaves skin feeling hydrated and instantly refreshed.
